Next sunday, the 2013 BAFTA ceremony will be taking place in London. To illustrate the feature films in competition with one another for the best film, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts calls on the british artist Jonathan Burton.

In a brief presentation, Jonathan Burton is graphic designer and an Illustrator expert. His work combines originality, aesthetics and thought. All his achievements are containing a real and powerful graphic meaning.

He worked, and is still working, for big names: many of his illustrations were on the front cover of ones of the most qualified newspapers (Times magazine, New Scientist, the Wall Street Journal …).

The british and american editors also used his talent for books or novels’ cover. He’s notably the graphic designer of the fictional series Kinsgley Amis, of the one of the PD James novel Cover Her Face, or even the one of the Agatha Christie The Mirror Crack’ illustrated version.

I am strongly recommend you to see his personal website and discover the set of his wonderful works: www.jonathanburton.net.
